Position Overview:

As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing our WordPress websites. You will work closely with our design, content, and marketing teams to create user-friendly, visually appealing, and highly functional websites that align with our business goals. We are seeking someone with a strong technical background and a keen eye for design who can work independently and bring creative solutions to our web development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Implement responsive design to ensure websites are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible.
• Optimize website performance, including page speed and load times.
• Collaborate with design and content teams to translate figma designs, mockups and wireframes into fully functional web pages.
• Ensure website security by implementing best practices and regular updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including bugs and performance problems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our web presence.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and tools.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
